Chilling at the Park

Haven't posted any park outing pictures in awhile, so figured it was time.

Mika loves to chase sticks when they are dragged along the ground. It's her favorite park game and our usual method for wearing her out before we go home. She always sits with her captured stick like this while she catches her breath after a run.

I have don't remember why Mochi has that look on her face, but I think it's adorable. I love when she flattens her ears back like that.

They don't usually sit together so prettily for so long, so I had to take advantage of the opportunity while I could. Thanks for posing, ladies!

Union Jack Cat

Over the holiday season I got around to a project I've been meaning to do for quite a long while: create a Union Jack pillow. I'm vaguely obsessed with the flag design (and all things British, to be honest) and it just so happens that my Tullsta chair was in need of a better lumbar pillow. I decided to go with nontraditional colors though - sorry about that Brits. <3

Mika insisted on being involved in the photoshoot, however, so it ended up more about her than the pillow. She knows the camera means focused attention, so she tends to turn on the charm, at least until she gets bored and decides to take a nap.

If she's not on my lap, she's likely napping in this chair.

Chair Thief

Mika has a habit of stealing seats the moment someone gets up.

Both girls love the chair, especially when it's extended.
