Mika and Mochi's First Christmas

Mika and Mochi celebrated Christmas morning with a generous dose of catnip soaked toys and tower. It was fun for all four of us. (As I write this, Mika is curled up in the crook of my arm purring like crazy with a little kitty smile on her face. Soooo cute.) Now on to the pictures!

Mika managed to rip her catnip-soaked ball/feather toy in half within about 5 minutes.

Oh the happiness.

They had fun pawing, rolling in, and licking it.

The wrapping paper and tissue is more fun than the actual cat toys, obviously.

Though somehow their favorite pink mouse ended up in the mix.

(They are such girly girls - they love pink toys).

Spoiled Rotten and Loving It

Mika and Mochi got their Christmas present a couple days early this year. They already have a fabulously huge 70-something inch tall tower but one of Matt's coworkers had a spare cat tower from a cat (that has passed on) that was in great shape so he sent it our way. It's about half the height of their other one but it's "OMG NEW" so the darlings are loving it extra at the moment. It now resides on the upper level of our place, but I was enjoying watching them go crazy over it, so we left it downstairs to start with.

Peavy Explorations

We took Mika and Mochi to Matt's office to meet some of his coworkers on Friday in Peavy Hall. They had fun hopping around the computer parts and exploring every nook and cranny of the back rooms. The cats and people seemed to have equal amounts of fun.

They had a lot to say on the trip over. They love going out but hate the car crate.

Exploring is much better than the car crate.
